FORMER dance teacher Bill Tasker has died at the age of 80. He will be remembered by generations of people who he taught during a career spanning more than 40 years.
He was born in Yorkshire and came to Bury at the age of 14. He learned to dance at Lomax's in Church Street, Radcliffe. In 1947 he opened a school of dancing on The Rock, Bury.
