BOLTON-born amateur mountain climber Steven Chapman has raised more than £500 for Water Aid. Steven, aged 23, who is from Smithills, embarked on a fundraising team adventure, climbing some of the highest peaks in the UK, including Arenig Fawr, near Lake Bala, Wales.
His employer, United Utilities, added £250 to the total amount of money he raised.
Steven said: "The only other thing I've done for over eight hours continuously is sleep, so it was definitely a challenge but well worth it!"
