REGULARS at a new community library in Bury will be certain to like the books they find on the shelves -- because they will have helped to choose them.
On Wednesday, residents in the Heywood Street area are being invited to the new library in South Cross Street to help select the books they want to read.
The consultation and fun day, which will run from 2pm to 6pm, will also feature a wide range of Urdu books to be chosen for the library. Community artist Tina Foran will be holding a fabric-painting workshop to make a wall hanging for the library, and there will be art activities for children and English and Urdu storytelling sessions.
