MICK Meanley beat Roy Nield 3-1 in the final of the Men's Round The Board event in the Bolton Darts League in aid of the Bolton Senior Gateway Club for Mentally Handicapped Adults,

In the semi-final he beat Dave Heyes and in the quarter final accounted for Dave Smith. The eventual runner-up beat Brian Daniels in the semi-final and Dave Roe in the quarter-final.

Other quarter-finalists were Brian Daniels, beating Paul Baistow and Dave Heyes beating Tommy Jessop.

In the Ladies Section Two (Moonlight Club, Friday) the leader is Edith Stephens by aggregate from Marian Heyes, with Louise Bond in third, and Sandy Dyson in fourth. Following close behind with the same points are Lindy Shaw and Rita Heaton.

Leading the Men's Section Two (Moonlight Club, Friday) is Dave Roe by four points from Roy Nield and Steve Weall, with Graham Parr and Tommy Jessop following just two points behind.

The Ladies Section One (The Albert, Friday) leader is June Scott by aggregate from Bev Irwin and Janet Robishaw, with Beryl Prescott, Maureen Crook and Pat Boardman close behind.

Two players lead the Section Two, Sonia McGuinness and Sharon Price with the same points and aggregate by two points from Kath Lawson, Karen Norris, Marie Watts and Joan Millar.
