FORMER US president Bill Clinton has thrown his backing behind a campaign to eradicate child abuse in the UK, at a ball in Liverpool's Knowsley Hall.
He commended the NSPCC's Full Stop campaign, whose aim is to put an end to child cruelty within a generation.
Hosts of the ball, Amulet chairman Mark Langford and his wife, Debbie, announced a record-breaking £6m gift to the NSPCC.
