A SCRUTINY commission is being launched to investigate the experience of Greater Manchester's growing population of asylum seekers and refugees.
The commission -- one of the first of its kind -- will look into what services are provided in Salford.
It will produce recommendations about how the city council and other agencies can work together to ensure the best services are provided.
It will also work to minimise any negative impact on existing services.
