WANDERERS and Leeds United meet again next Monday a month after their clash at Elland Road which saw the Whites romp to a 4-2 win.

That success brought added pressure to the Yorkshire side's beleaguered boss Terry Venables and he will be looking to erase the memory of that result with an improved show at the Reebok in front of the Sky TV cameras.

His main worry will be about the availability of some of his players.

He was without the services of Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka and Lee Bowyer for Saturday's trip to Loftus Road to play Fulham after they were ruled out through injury and illness.

Venables had been cheered by the return of central defender Lucas Radebe earlier in the week but that good news was wiped out by even more injury problems.

The only consolation for Venables is that the timing of the fixture has given his stars longer to achieve full fitness.

Viduka hurt his shoulder playing for the reserves, Bowyer has an ankle injury while Kewell is suffering from a virus.

Venables will be watching the progress of all three during the week, while he will be hoping that Robbie Fowler continues his good work after injury to try and match last season's feat when he scored a hat-trick in the Boxing Day fixture between the sides at the Reebok.
