DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a nurse say the 26-year-old must have known her killer.
The body of Debbie Remorozo was found in her flat at Summervale House in Oldham.
Ms Remorozo had travelled to the UK from the Philippines to work for the NHS.
Officers met her colleagues at the Royal Oldham Hospital on Monday to speak to them about the murder investigation.
Ms Remorozo was last seen returning home from a shift at the hospital on 7 December.
She was found stabbed to death the following day.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Brennan, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "We know that Debbie was a very security conscious woman who would not have let anyone in her flat that she did not know.
"She had a very tight and close circle of friends and those who attended the meeting were asked to consider anyone who might have had any disagreement with Debbie, however small, in the run-up to her death.
"We believe that Debbie must have known her murderer."
Police say anyone who has any information about Ms Remorozo's murder can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
