MPs are currently debating the new Hunting Bill in Parliament.
As the Bill stands, it does not ban fox hunting, but merely licenses it.
We, like the majority of the British public, are opposed to this cruel sport and would like to see it consigned to the history books, along with the once popular activities of bull baiting, bear baiting, cock fighting, dog fighting and badger baiting.
The Scottish Parliament last year banned the hunting of deer, foxes, hares and mink with dogs. This year, England and Wales must follow suit.
If you also want to live in a country where it is illegal to inflict pain and suffering on wild animals, please write to your MP NOW (House of Commons, London SW1A OAA) and ask them to vote for a ban at every opportunity.
No compromise or fudge is acceptable on this issue -- nothing short of an outright ban will do.
Please take the time to write to your MP -- it really does make a difference. You can also sign the on-line petition at www.banhunting.com
