BOLTON people can get confidential advice about heart disease with a special hotline which has been set up by the British Heart Foundation.
Bolton has a legacy of heart problems due to unhealthy lifestyles and has one of the highest heart attack rates in the country.
People worried that they may have heart conditions should contact their GP immediately, but a help-line has also been set up to give heart disease advice.
Specially trained cardiac nurses will be able to provide confidential information.
The service is available to patients, their families and health professionals by ringing 08450 70 80 70.
