IT looks like all judges are taking lessons in the art of comedy.

The Bolton Evening News headlines on Tuesday, January 7, made me laugh -- 35 convictions for 119 crimes. And the law says Crime doesn't pay!

It certainly has for this man, and then, to top it all, in Wednesday's edition -- a drink driver kills three people and only gets four-and-half years in an institution, he will be out in 18 months.

On Friday we see another child killed by a driver who has already been banned from driving. These people should be charged with murder, not dangerous driving.

Crime in this country will continue to rise (as it is doing) until those in power stop worrying about other countries and sort this one out.
