The popular Edale Rambler Folk Train is still leaving Manchester Piccadilly on the first Tuesday evening of every month and heading for the Peak District.
Folk groups and artistes entertain along the way which only costs the price of a normal train ticket.
At Edale the folk music continues at the Ramblers Inn alongside the station before returning back to Manchester.
The success of this entertaining trip has led to a new Glossop Folk Train which leaves Piccadilly and heads with music along the line to Glossop Labour Club.
The next Glossop train departs on January 30. More information can be found on 0161 242 6296.
