MANCHESTER has some of the worst facilities for grass-root footballers despite having two Premiership sides, claims a Football Foundation survey.
Amateurs using pitches across England face problems including water-logged fields, no changing rooms for female players and a lack of floodlighting.
The Foundation mapped more than 90 per cent of pitches and changing rooms in England.
