A TOWN'S annual celebration of everything environmental is coming back.
Bury Environment Week, including the highly successful Environmental Fair, will be staged from May18-25, giving local people the chance to find out more, take part in, and help celebrate a whole range of green initiatives, activities and events.
Councillor Derek Boden said: "The event takes in everything from healthy living and alternative therapy to organic food, community regeneration, sports and outdoor leisure activities as well as general well-being.
"It is a chance to focus in on some very serious issues, but to still have a lot of fun in the process."
As always, one of the highlights of the week will be the giant Environment Fair which, as in the past, will be staged at the Castle Leisure Centre, this time on Saturday May 24.
