TWO burglars were disturbed as they tried to break into a farm house in Farnworth early today.
A couple living at Edgefold Farm, in Plodder Lane, awoke after hearing noises at about 12.20am.
The two men were trying to open patio doors at the house and fled empty-handed when they were confronted.
They escaped in an X-Type Jaguar and police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen it speeding away from the scene. If you can help call Bolton CID on 0161 856 5640.
