RADCLIFFE Amateurs maintained their perfect record with a sixth straight victory in the Lancashire Amateur League Premiership.
They extended their lead to five points with a 4-2 victory over Prairie United.
Shaun Scully scored twice with Gary Andrew and Scott Hannah adding the others.
Rivington shared the points in their bottom of the table clash with Hesketh Casuals.
Twice Rivington took the lead only for Hesketh to equalise. Martin Spencer gave Rivington the lead with a fine header and Darren White poached a second only for Hesketh to hit back again following a defensive mix-up leaving Rivington still looking for their first
victory.
A dominant first half earned Bury Grammar School Old Boys three points against Old Blackburnians. Man of the match Andy Jackson opened the scoring in the first minute with a fine header and the centre half added a second from the penalty spot after a blatant handball. Ian Riggs made it three before half time when he finished off a fine move.
Old Blackburnians improved after the break and pulled a goal back 10 minutes from time from the penalty spot.
Les Moore scored for Horwich RMI but Thornleigh hit back to win 2-1. RMI Reserves lost 6-1 to Old Mancunians.
