BOLTON Lads & Girls Club will be holding their annual Boxing Dinner Show with a champagne reception in the Albert Halls.
And with a theme of Burns Night, there should be plenty of people around in dickie bows and kilts.
The guests will go into the Albert Hall for dinner, where the celebrity guest will be Jim Watt MBE, the former World Lightweight Boxing Champion, who is now a familiar face on our television screens.
The dinner will be held from 7.15pm to 8.45pm. Then the boxers will get into the ring and be introduced. The Bolton Lads & Girls Club boxers are competing against a Scottish team. There will then be an interval while they hold an auction, when it is hoped at least £20,000 will be raised.
There will be 250 guests attending and it is anticipated the entire evening, which is being held on Friday, January 24, will raise at least £40,000.
