A PRIMARY care trust is facing a freeze on new spending because of the pressure on NHS spending.
Chief Executive Evan Boucher of Bury's Primary Care Trust, has warned staff there can be no new projects before the end of the financial year.
Mr Boucher says he regrets the action but pressures on the health service locally and nationally are extremely high.
The trust has a estimated an overspend of £700,000 -- mostly on the elderly.
