COMPUTER equipment worth nearly £1 million has been stolen from an industrial estate.
Thieves cut a hole in a steel roller shutter door then returned to enter the unit on the Stakehill Industrial Estate, Middleton, at 2pm on Sunday. A security guard was threatened with a hammer.
They escaped with goods in a white Transit van. A £20,000 reward is being offered. Police said it was "a well planned and highly organised robbery".
