Little Lever Sports Club 1 Gregorians 3
LITTLE Lever were soundly thrashed 3-1 by reigning Lancashire Amateur League champions Gregorians.
A poacher's goal from Chris Beresford, after a mistake by the Gregorians goalkeeper, put Lever in front.
And that lead looked like holding until a 70th minute strike sparked the visitors into life.
Horwich played their first game in four weeks and came away with a 2-2 draw at Walkden.
The home side went in front with a 20th minute penalty following a rash tackle by Craig Morris but within a minute Horwich were level when Matt Harwood volleyed in Chris Brown's cross.
Another volley, this time by Gary Hunter, from a cleared corner put Horwich in front but Walkden equalised with a disputed free-kick 15 minutes from time.
