IT was cup weekend for a number of teams in the Bolton Boys Federation with a number players hitting goalscoring form.
In the U14 County Cup, Oxford Grove have reached the LFA semi-final and, in the Manchester County Cup, Deans Youth and North Walkden are in the quarter-finals with Stephens netting a hat-trick for the Walkden side.
In the Jubilee Cup, Lads Club scraped into the next round after winning on penalties against CMB. Also through are Martindales, Hindley Jnrs, Breightmet Utd and Hindsford Jnrs.
In the league there were good wins for Leigh RMI, Walshaw and Heaton Albion, while in the U13 Jubilee Cup Farnworth Boys, St Mary's and CMB Colts have reached the quarter-finals.
But the knockout kings of the weekend were Bolton County Jnrs, who reached their County Cup quarter-final thanks to a brace from Crank and a last-minute penalty save by keeper Whitelaw.
In the league there were good wins for Lads Club A, CMB and Bromley Cross.
Bolton Eagles remain at the top of the U16s section after Matt Slater bagged a double brace and Craig Lowe scored a great goal in AFC Bolton's win.
Lads Club had a great win in the U15s over rivals Hindley Jnrs.
