TWO teenagers were due to appear at Bolton magistrates court today charged with robbery.
Both are aged in their late teens and are from Westhoughton, police said.
Four teenagers were held yesterday following incidents at seven homes across Westhoughton in as many days.
In one incident, a 79-year-old pensioner was bundled to the floor inside his sheltered accommodation home in Firs Avenue at midnight on Tuesday, leaving him shaken but unhurt. Cash was taken.
One teenager is facing two counts of robbery and the other is facing one count.
Two other teenagers from Westhoughton, arrested on suspicion of robbery and burglary, have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Police have warned elderly residents to remain vigilant and to never open their doors to anyone they are unsure of.
More than 20 people have been arrested across Astley Bridge in the past fortnight in a crackdown on burglary and robbery.
