BOLTON MP David Crausby will be supporting a bid to reduce the noise levels of fireworks.
Mr Crausby, MP for Bolton North-east, is backing Bill Tynan's proposal for a Fireworks Bill which he will submit to the House of Commons on February 28.
He said: "The current controls have been shown to be inadequate in reducing injuries, limiting noise levels and combating the dubious import, transport and storage of these explosives.
"I am increasingly concerned about the noise and nuisance caused by fireworks."
