COMMUNITY artist Andrew Williams offers an open invitation this weekend to join him and help create a little art in the park.
Andrew will be in Philips Park, Whitefield, putting together a sculptural piece which will be made from natural objects gathered in the immediate area.
To turn the event into a real success, local people are needed to go along and take part in the conception and development of the sculpture.
Those wishing to get involved should meet at the Barn Countryside Centre at 10am on Saturday or Sunday.
People are asked to take suitable footwear and clothing for working outdoors.
The event has been funded by the Countryside Agency and NW Arts and those requiring more detail should contact Bury Metro's Wildlife and Project Officer, David Dutton on 0161 253 5259 or you can e-mail him at: D.P.Dutton@bury.gov.uk
