A NEW community group kicks-off its activities with an event to help boot racism out of football.
The Afro-Caribbean Opportunities Initiative is inviting children aged 11 and 12 to compete in a football tournament at Radcliffe Borough's Stainton Park artificial pitch.
Groups of seven will play for team and individual trophies, with girls welcome to take part alongside the boys.
The games take place on February 20, from noon until 4pm.
Committee member Wayne Entwistle said: "We are open to everyone and it promises to be a fun day."
Teams or individuals interested in taking part should contact Mr Entwistle on 01204 886633.
