POLICE officers are learning Urdu as part of a force's drive to improve relations with ethnic minorities.
Officers from south Manchester are starting a 15-week course in conversational Urdu.
It is being run at the request of officers from Greater Manchester Police who wish to break down communication barriers with the Pakistani community.
