TWO volunteers from the Turton branch will be honoured later this year for more than 50 years work with the RNLI.
Joan Jellicoe and Jean Musker have together clocked up 53 years of voluntary service. Joan, who joined in 1969 and has been treasurer since 1972, will receive the gold badge, the highest honour. Jean, who joined in 1984 and has been the secretary since 1998, will be awarded the bronze medal.
