TWO brothers were shot in an incident outside a house in south Manchester last night.
The first man, aged 31, was shot in the chest as he confronted two men who were seen loitering outside his house, in Brantingham Road, Whalley Range, about 11pm.
He approached them and, after a struggle, was shot. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The man's 29-year-old brother was also shot and will undergo surgery later.
