FORMER Wigan and Great Britain forward Denis Betts will make a comeback on Wednesday night when he plays in his testimonial match against Widnes at the JJB Stadium.
The 33-year-old, who brought his distinguished playing career to a halt in October 2001, will start for the Warriors in their only pre-season hit-out - but insists his comeback will be short-lived.
"It will be a chance to thank the Wigan fans who have been so supportive and appreciative of my efforts over the years," said Betts, who is now coaching Wigan's Under-21 side.
