THE BAD weather took its toll again this week with only three games surviving in the BSF Over 35s football programme.
In the Sam Ashworth Trophy Quarter Finals, Second Division Seven Stars beat Third Division Old Smithillians 3-1. It was a close game but two goals from A Critchley and one from I Bolton secured the win.
Joining them in the semi-finals will be Division One leaders Dobbies A who beat Division Two leaders Hare Athletic 3-1, with goals from Mullen, Walton and Whittiker proving decisive.
In the Third Division, Dobbies C moved up a place by beating Urmston MC 1-0 away from home.
All other games were lost to the bad weather.
