THE match of the day in the Bolton Boys Federation U13s Section was a classic with Westhoughton Rangers coming out on top in an 11-goal thriller against title rivals Horwich St Mary's.
Man of the match performances came from Anthony Berry, St Mary's and Craig Burnsnall, Rangers, who scored a brace from midfield.
Head, Farrell, Leigh and Hesketh netted for the winners, with Andrew Marsh bagging four for the losers.
Other results in this age group saw Bromley Cross have a tremendous win over AFC Park, with Sloane notching a double brace that lifts them off the bottom of the League.
In the U16s Section, AFC Bolton notched a great win over Jnr Latics, with Craig Lowe scoring a brace and Hindley and Radcliffe having good wins.
Deans Youth in the U14s are on a roll after edging out Martindales in another 11-goal classic, with Lee Chapman grabbing a hat-trick.
Jordon Cover of Hindsford helped himself to a double brace in their win over Leigh RMI.
There were other wins for Lads Club, North Walkden and Oxford Grove, who have reached the LFA Youth Cup Semi-Final.

Due to recent bad weather, state of pitches and apathy of some teams, the leagues are now being closely monitored.
