WITH their first team out of action Eagley reserves grabbed the limelight with a 3-0 win over Poulton Town in the West Lancashire League Reserve Division One.
Top scorer Carl Grimshaw netted twice, while veteran Mel Bentham rounded off the scoring with a looping 25-yard effort, to stretch their unbeaten run to seven games.
Meanwhile Blackrod Town's first team were also out of action but their reserves managed a 1-1 draw at Fleetwood Hesketh, thanks to a Tony Horbury strike ten minutes from time.
