A NEW South American wine promises to be a good mover as it hits the Sainsbury shelves this month. Lo Tengo comes in revolutionary lenticular packaging which mimics the movement of the Tango.

The image moves when the label is shifted from side to side. But what of the wine itself? It is produced in Argentina and is a smooth blend of Malbec with a little Tempranillo. Price £4.99.

A VARIETY of new wines from the sunny shores of South Africa is now in supermarkets. They include new additions to the Kumala range -- the UK's top selling South African wine. Its red partner the Kumala Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is also newly available from Tesco for £6.99.Perfect with spicy or marinated meats and rich cheeses.

CARTON-packaged wine can quite often be an automatic turn-off, but the Tribal African Red is a soft, easy drinking wine with delicious berry flavours. It is perfect served at room temperature with spicy chicken, traditional lasagne or simply on its own. Its white alternative is the Tribal African White, to accompany smoked fish and vegetable pasta dishes. Both are available from Sainsbury's at £2.99 for one litre. Tribal also has a third offering -- Tribal Sparkling is in a frosty bottle and has an intense fruity, slightly sweet taste. It too is on sale from Sainsbury's, but for £4.99.

PINOTAGE is South Africa's indigenous grape and makes a pleasant medium bodied wine which is soft and very drinkable. Bellingham Pinotage is available from Sainsbury's at £5.99.
