WHO did what at the Reebok

Beaten twice but denied Naysmith and Watson with good saves

His goal was a reward for some hard work but it was no consolation

Man of the Match
STEVE
WATSON
TWO goals and, but for Jaaskelainen, the full-back turned midfielder could have had a hat-trick. Played with determination and passion and wanted to be involved.
Moan of the Match
PEMBRIDGE deserved the stick he got from the Bolton fans and players when he unceremoniously and unsportingly hoofed the ball out of play instead of offering possession back to the opposition.
Magic Moment
WATSON maintains his stunning volley was precisely executed. Others are not so sure but it was an impressive strike nevertheless.
KICK BY KICK
30 secs: Ricketts spurns a golden opportunity in the first attack, heading Pedersen's cross wide after Mendy gets things moving.
4 mins: Campo curses his luck as he beats the Everton cover to reach Djorkaeff's carefully-weighted free kick, only to slice his right-footer wide of Wright's goal.
15 mins: It's Pedersen's turn to miscue - again from a Djorkaeff set-piece - giving Everton more cause to count their blessings.
25 mins: Hesitancy (not for the first time) in the Wanderers' defence allows Pistone's throw to drift through to Naysmith, who nods a close-range header straight at Jaaskelainen.
30 mins: Alarm bells ring as McBride darts in to meet Pistone's cross at the near post but the American's header is off-target.
GOAL!
33 mins: Wanderers are stunned as Unsworth's routine free kick finds its way, via McBride's head, to Watson who hooks the ball over Charlton, over the stranded Jaaskelainen and into the far corner.
37 mins: Gardner spies a half-chance with Wright just off his line but his header drops inches over the bar
GOAL!
39 mins: Double trouble! Wanderers fail to deal with Pistone's free kick and Watson pounces for his second, knocking in the rebound after Jaaskelainen saves Naysmith's shot.
44 mins: Djorkaeff gets the better of Wright but Stubbs is back to head the Frenchman's lofted shot safely away.
Half-time: Wanderers 0 Everton 2
54 mins: Radzinski beats Campo in a race for Wright's long clearance but fails to turn the advantage into a shooting opportunity.
59 mins: Wanderers are struggling to get any rhythm going but a chance presents itself when Charlton's free kick falls to Nolan at the back post but his header flashes wide.
63 mins: Jaaskelainen launches himself to palm away Naysmith's rasping, rising shot.
77 mins: Watson has his hat-trick in sight but Jaaskelainen is perfectly positioned to save his close-range header.
83 mins: Mendy's pace comes to the rescue as he gets back to stop McBride and is harshly penalised.
GOAL!
90 mins: The seconds are ticking away when Frandsen's shot is blocked in a goalmouth scramble before Bergsson forces the ball home.
Full-time: Wanderers 1 Everton 2
