YOUNGSTERS in the North-west know all about healthy diets but can not resist the lure of burgers and chips.
A survey into the eating habits of 15 to 21-year-olds showed that of 10 regions surveyed nationwide, this was ranked as the fourth worst area, with 89 per cent of teens eating less than 30 portions of fruit and vegetables per week.
The research was carried out on behalf of World Vision, the international relief and development agency, to highlight the charity's 24-hour famine fundraising campaign.
