POLICE today renewed their appeal for information after a man stormed into a pub brandishing an air rifle.
The gunman struck at the Elephant and Castle, in Bolton Road, Chorley, and fired at several windows.
A police helicopter was called to the scene before the pub was cordoned off and a nearby house searched. Witnesses said the man was around 5ft 9in tall with dark hair. No-one was injured.
Detective Constable Richard Booth of Wheelton Police said: "We do believe that our suspect is a local man."
