A 12-YEAR-OLD girl trapped in a ground-floor bathroom after the door lock broke was rescued by firefighters who lifted her through a UPVC window.
The girl, who suffers from asthma, was unhurt after the drama at Standsfield Close, Tonge Moor, at 6pm last night. She had been locked in for more than an hour.
Leading fireman Darren Banks, of Bolton Central Station, said: "They were trying everything to get her out but gave up in the end and called us out. She was fine, just a little bit embarrassed."
