FOUR suspected terrorists who were arrested in Manchester under the Terrorism Act are still being questioned by Scotland Yard.
One of the men, a 35-year-old North African , was arrested at a house in Deal Street, Pimhole, Bury.
Two men aged 30 and 32 were detained in separate raids in Hulme, while a 31-year-old man was arrested in Stretford.
The raids were carried out by the Anti-Terrorist Branch at the Metropolitan Police and officers from Greater Manchester Police's Tactical Aid Unit on Wednesday morning.
The arrests were not connected to the murder of DC Stephen Oake.
Under the Terrorism Act the men can be questioned for up to seven days.
