POLICE in Manchester are investigating the death of a man who was found collapsed in the street.
The 33-year-old man, from Cleveland, was found by door staff of a nearby pool club on Friday night.
Ambulance crews were called at about 10pm, and took the victim to Manchester Royal Infirmary, where he died about two hours later.
On Saturday Greater Manchester police said they were treating the man's death as suspicious.
He was found collapsed close to Suzy Q's pool hall in Kirkmanshulme Lane, Belle Vue, and police later sealed off the scene.
A post-mortem examination of the victim's body was due to be carried out on Saturday morning.
A 47-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Crime scene investigators are at the scene of the incident, and witnesses are urged to contact CID at Longsight.
