Dr John Leather, of Green Lane, Bolton, produced this picture taken many years ago of a knight in armour at a celebration of some sort in Bolton.
I print it without any definite details. Dr Leather writes: "My (step) mother did not marry my father until 1930, from whence she became interested in horses, and I am sure that it is her on the grey (why else would we have the picture?)." So seemingly a "knightess" rather than a knight . . .
