THE two latest additions to Wanderers' growing French connection spoke of their delight and relief in completing the deadline beating deals that will give them their first taste of Premiership football.
Nantes striker Pierre-Yves Andre and Lyon defender Florent Laville left the Reebok in the early hours of Saturday morning after securing loan deals that will run for the rest of the season.
Both impressed in trials last week but thought their chances of a move had gone until Friday's dramatic developments.
Laville said: "I am relieved that the agreement has been reached at this very late stage. I've always wanted to play in the Premiership and Bolton Wanderers is a very respected club in France with their French influences.
"One of the greatest things I am relishing is to play alongside my good friend and former team-mate at Lyon, Bruno N'Gotty."
Andre added: "It's a great chance for me to perform in arguably the best league in the world. I hope to score the goals that will help Wanderers climb up the league and make me a favourite with the fans."
