A 44-YEAR-OLD man suffered concussion after he was hit on the head by two thieves.
The victim was walking along Rainsough Brow, Whitefield, Bury at about 8.30pm on Saturday when he was attacked.
The thieves kicked and punched him and tried to drag him to the floor while searching his pockets.
They eventually fled empty-handed.
The man also suffered a black left eye, a cut lip and cuts to his forehead.
Both men were white, aged between 17 and 18, around 5ft 8ins, and spoke with foreign accents.
