A new exhibition featuring the work of pioneering British photojournalist Grace Robertson, who began working in the 1940s and reached the top of her male dominated world, is being hosted by The Lowry.
Among the images in this wide-ranging exhibition is her highly regarded documentation of a London women's pub outing -- a unique record of uninhibited high spirits and female camaraderie in 1954.
This touring exhibition from the University of Brighton runs at The Lowry until April 6. Works are for sale.
