CHORLEY MP Lindsay Hoyle will be doing his 'flipping' best for charity when he takes part in the annual parliamentary Pancake Race, on the green opposite the Houses of Parliament, later this month.
The event aims to raise money for charity Rehab UK and will be mirrored by races across the country.
George Wilson, Chairman of Rehab UK, said: "We very much want other people to follow his lead, not only to help Rehab UK, but to keep this lovely British tradition alive and running.
"If you would like to have fun and hold a local sponsored pancake race on behalf of Rehab UK on Shrove Tuesday, or on any date near then, we would be pleased to hear from you."
The offer is open to Cubs, clubs, Scouts, Brownies, Guides, women's institutes, individuals, firms -- in fact, any who feels the flipping inclination.
The pancake racing will raise funds to help people fighting to recover from brain injury through Rehab UK's brain injury centres.
