THE organisers of Horwich Carnival have announced that the 'music and Mirth' show scheduled for Friday, April 4, at Horwich RMI Club has virtually sold out two months in advance.
Now an additional date is being considered. The show features the brilliant raconteur Buzz Hawkins, the man behind the Bradshaws. The music part of the spectacle will be presented by Wingates Brass Band, led by musical director Roy Curran.
Ken Chaisty, one of the organisers behind the concert, which Bolton Evening News columnist Fred Shawcross has been invited to compere, said: "We have been inundated with requests for tickets and have decided to test public reaction to a follow-up date on the Sunday, April 6. If enough people request tickets, we will press ahead with the extra performance." Inquiries should be directed to 01204 468911 or (evenings) 01204 695742.
