THIS gap-toothed teenager is wanted in connection with a vicious assault on a 20-year-old man who had his face cut with a craft knife.
Detectives have issued an e-fit of the attacker who was part of a five-strong gang who pounced on the victim as he walked along Thicketford Road, Tonge Moor.
Four teenagers held the man's arms while the fifth member, pictured, began to cut his face with the knife.
The same youth then emptied the victim's pockets of cash before cutting his face again. All five youths then ran off.
The attack happened shortly before 7pm on Saturday, January 25.
The victim, who is from Breightmet, suffered minor cuts to his face which did not require stitches.
Det Con Dave Sullivan said: "This was a particularly nasty attack on a man who was minding his own business.
"Fortunately the injuries that he received were only superficial and he did not require any medical attention but things could obviously have been a lot worse.
"I would ask people to take a close look at the e-fit and see if they know anyone who may look similar."
The youth with the knife is described as approximately 6ft 2in and was wearing new Nike trainers, Adidas tracksuit bottoms and a dark hooded top.
