VISITORS to Bolton Hospice have come up smelling of roses after raising more than £6,000.
Around 270 rose bushes have been dedicated to loved ones in exchange for a donation.
Cllr Kevan Helsby, the Mayor of Bolton planted the final rose bush at the Bolton Hospice 10th Anniversary Commemorative Bed of Roses ceremony in the centre of Bolton's Queen's Park.
Bolton Youth Brass Band provided the music.
Debra Graham, director of fund raising, said: "We look forward to the roses blooming year after year as an everlasting memento."
A number of bushes remain undedicated. Ring 01204 520040 for more details.
