Buses radiate out from Valletta bus station, which is a hive of activity from early morning until about 8pm.

They stop here, there and everywhere, passengers gossiping between themselves and the driver.
The drivers are expecially helpful, one taking me several miles to a different location after I had inadvertently missed the last bus back to my hotel in the north of the island.
