RESIDENTS in Bury are to be given an opportunity to discuss Metrolink's decision to site a new tram station in their neighbourhood.
The matter will be discussed at a meeting of the Bury East Area Board at Fairfield Community Primary School, Rochdale Old Road, on Tuesday.
Cllr Trevor Holt, area board chairman, said: "There is no doubt that the siting of a new Metrolink station in the town -- and especially in the Buckley Wells area -- has resulted in a great deal of comment."
Ian Lord of Bury Council's Engineers Department and Roger Trip from the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive, will highlight the findings that have come from a consultation process and will answer questions.
