BOLTON residents have been urged to take part in an 11-day odyssey to help local disabled children.
Children Today have launched the Global Adventure Challenge -- an adventure in the jungles of Borneo in September this year.
It consists of a 4,000m trek to the summit of mount Kinabalu, cycling for 112 miles through mountainous jungle trails, white-water rafting on the Padas river and scuba diving in the South China Sea.
Everyone taking part is asked to pay £250 to register and raise a minimum amount of sponsorship. All money raised will be used to provide grants for vital equipment for children with sickness and disabilities in the Bolton area.
